To follow our PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner you have to have one of the following certifications: PRINCE2® Foundation (or higher) , Project Management Professional® (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM), IPMA Levels A, B, C or D®.
Description of PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner
This course is the world’s most complete collection of agile project management processes and it gives you the ability to focus on both leadership and delivery. It works with any kind of established flexible approach. This certification is an answer to the increasing demand from user groups for scalable, agile methods. The method provides structure and control when working with agile concepts, methods and techniques. The course is designed to provide a general overview and to help you in your everyday work with project management.
PRINCE2 Agile is a course for further development, intended for individuals and businesses who are already familiar with the PRINCE2 method. The method illustrates how to apply the agile mindset in a PRINCE2 context, which is the most frequently used project framework. PRINCE2 Agile is developed to be able to function on its own on a practitioner level. The purpose of the exam is for you to demonstrate that you understand and can utilise PRINCE2 Agile in different situations.
Aims of the course
As a certified practitioner, you will be able to use the methods in an agile project within your company even though you may still need some experience to be able to handle all kinds of situations. You will gain knowledge on the most utilized agile principles, methods and tools and gain extensive knowledge on how PRINCE2 is best adapted to agile methods of development. Your individual experience with project management, the complexity of the project and the support available at the organization will, naturally, determine your opportunities to work with PRINCE2 Agile professionally. With a certification in PRINCE2 Agile, you will be able to better navigate discussions and considerations in regards to how the company’s projects are managed and controlled while being part of choosing which methods to be used in project management and development.
Methods of teaching
The course is based on independent studies via video-based e-learning. You can stream your lessons when and where it suits you and in whichever pace works for you. The combination of videos, quizzes, written exams and supplementary material will provide good support, both during and after the course.

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exams are currently available in English and German.
In what situations is a Health Check relevant?
A Health Check works by asking you a line of question about agility within four different fields: Behavior, project environment, processes and techniques. If you answer the question “yes”, you will have met an intermediate aim of being agile and behave accordingly.
When every question is answered, you will receive a statement on the current level of your business / your project / your team.
The questions are designed to increase awareness of your current position towards being agile in your work. The result of the exercise is not what is important.
