Description of P3O®
A P3O is defined as a decision-enabling/delivery support structure for all business changes within an organization. A P3O is also known as a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and is often established as one or more physical or virtual office that provide a mix of localized and/or centralized functions and services.
Benefits of establishing a P3O includes:

Aims of the course
The purpose of P3O is to provide universally applicable guidance and support for all business change initiatives including programmes and projects as well as help keep an overview of the collective status and progress of the portfolio.
Methods of teaching
The course is based on independent studies via video-based e-learning. You are able to stream your lessons when and where it suits you and in whichever pace works for you. The combination of videos, quizzes, written exams and supplementary material will provide good support, both during and after the course.

Kenny has been heading and participating in many different programmes, projects and change initiatives and on almost all levels from team manager, project manager, program manager to being a member of steering groups and program committees. Besides running actual projects and programmes, Kenny specializes in helping organizations and leadership teams to implement good practices for running portfolio, programmes and projects.

How to implement a P3O
This chapter provides guidance on the best-practice approaches to programme and project delivery that are recommended to implement or re-energize the P30, with a particular focus on Managing Successful Programmes (MSP). You will also learn how to implement a temporary P3O.

This chapter looks at the operation of P3Os following implementation or re-energizing. It examines the key activities of maintaining a successful permanent P30 and the range of tools and techniques that can be used to support consistent delivery of functions and services across the organization.

P3O exam is in English.
- Webcam (Please bring a mirror if you have a built-in webcam in the computer so that the room can be checked before the exam starts)
- A room where you can be undisturbed while taking the exam
- That you can present a valid photo ID (passport, driver’s license or other ID with photo and date of birth)
Our business partner offers an online exam, which means the exam is monitored online by a WebProctor. After your order, you will receive an email with the exam voucher from PeopleCert.
The email contains a link to create a profile at PeopleCert, voucher code and an attached guide. It is important that you read the instructions before you book your exam.
An exam voucher gives access to one exam. There are no further exam attempts included. The exam always take place on your own risk but are also a flexible solution for people with a tight schedule.
The exam is conducted in collaboration with a Greek exam organization called PeopleCert. They are solely responsible in relation to all support regarding this exam.
The ordered voucher cannot be returned as it was purchased specifically for you.
The voucher has an expiration date which is stated in the email from PeopleCert. You cannot use the voucher after this date – even if you have a good reason for not using the voucher. We recommend that you book your exam approx. 14 days before the desired date and that your exam is completed 30 days before the voucher expires.
The exam is technically conducted in English. There will be an English-speaking WebProctor who sits and monitors the exam along the way. You have the opportunity to talk and / or chat with your WebProctor before, during and after the exam. Under no circumstances should you be disturbed during the exam. No one else must be present, stick their head in the room, call you etc., during the exam. Also, make sure that the room doesn’t refer to P3O, project management or anything else (eg. posters, pictures etc.).
